Seasonal Décor Tips in the Workspace for the Upcoming Seasons

Writer: KDI DesignKDI Design

With the holiday seasons nearing, numerous companies seek ways to infuse their work environments with a festive atmosphere. The KDI PC team understands that achieving a successful project requires coordination, teamwork, and collaboration. Involving employees in the decoration process generates enthusiasm and helps instill a festive mood in everyone. Below are some useful suggestions for embellishing your workspace during the holidays.

Identify high-traffic areas to decorate, like the reception area, break rooms, and communal spaces. Simple touches can make a big impact, such as:

Fall:

  • Cozy Candle: To create the ambience of the season.

  • Floral Arrangements: Include pumpkins and gourds. Place on break room tables or Reception desk.

  • Throw Rug: Add a seasonal throw rug into your kitchen area or doorway.

  • Witch’s Caldron: Fill with candy for that afternoon pick me up!

Winter:

  • Garlands and Wreaths: Use these to adorn doorways and desks.

  • Themed Centerpieces: Use festive arrangements on tables, such as pinecones, candles, or seasonal flowers.

  • Flexible Lighting: Battery-operated lights that can be placed anywhere without needing outlets. We think twinkling lights are the best!

  • Add a Tree: Use this as a team building activity. A few of us at KDI love the season and add little trees with lights on our desks.

  • Put up Stockings: Put employee names on each one. Makes it fun if your company does a Secret Santa!
