After completing her studies in Interior Design at Michigan State University, Kit DeWitt joined Murphy-Jahn Architects in Chicago, IL and worked on the State of IL, Chicago Board of Trade & Northwestern Train Station project teams.  Once her first child was born, (Ginny who is now her mini-me and right hand) she entered the commercial furniture world at a local dealership and fell in love with her ability to affect so many people in many different types of environments. In 2004, Kit founded KDI Design based on her passion to deliver ideal interiors centered around the foundation of fabulous yet functional furniture.

MANAGING PRINCIPAL
A capable and committed next generation is the legacy all family-owned businesses strive for. From the age of 9, Ginny Rosso organized memo samples in Kit’s (her mom) studio and over the years she learned invaluable lessons about the design and furniture industry that could never be taught in school. Upon graduating from Northern Illinois University with degrees in both Hospitality & Business, Ginny found herself at a crossroads. Pave her own path or join the family business? 11 years later, Ginny leads a team of women at KDI, completing projects throughout the United States. Her inherited passion for the family business drives her and the KDI Team to continually impress her clients with a responsible and responsive style, always maintaining a collaborative approach with clients.
